Takashima D-13 has expanded its chassis options for the Schumacher Mi10 1:10 electric touring cars with a new 1.5mm titanium chassis, offering racers a lightweight alternative to the conventional steel chassis.
Manufactured from high-strength titanium, the chassis weighs approximately 122g, significantly reducing weight compared with the standard steel chassis. This makes it particularly attractive for Blinky-class racers looking to move closer to the minimum overall vehicle weight while allowing the use of larger battery packs,which can offer an advantage in available power.
The titanium chassis also offers potential performance benefits in Modified racing. Testing has shown improved corner speed and increased forward traction, providing a different handling balance compared with the heavier steel chassis.
